S/S 2014 | HIGHLIGHTS | JIL SANDER

Jill Sander took over the cat walk in Milan with her S/S 2014 collection with a playful colour pallet of pink, navy blue, white and lemon. Fabrics such as silk and mesh were used, but the main focus of the collection, was primarily, the cuts of the clothes: Crop tops, cropped trousers and small incisions exposing the model’s midriff, as well as coats which dropped just above the ankle.  Models, Fei Fei Sun, Marine Deleeuw, and Julia Nobis were showcased wearing a bold print. Colourful, bright and busy. A gorgeous contrast from the bold colours.  The collection shows effortless sophistication. All the jackets fitted beautifully. Some long. Some short. Shorter jackets were fitted and the sleeves showed off the model’s petite wrists, were the long coats hugged the models, exposing nothing but a few inches of their leg.
